Haïti, the poorest country in the western hemisphere, has just been devastated by a massive 7,0 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday the 12th of January 2010.

It is said that 100000 of people are feared dead after the tremendous earthquake that hit Haïti. Port-au Prince, the capital, is totally devastated and many buildings and houses have collapsed.

There are survivors and they are now the priority. Rescuers are arriving in Port-au-Prince and their best to rescue missing people. Because of the chaos, a lot of people do not know where and how to find their relatives.

This website can help to locate missing people. Anyone can use it to register people that have been rescued. It will help to make a list easily consultable.
